Salem To Sell 1680 AM; Onward & Upward for Three of Broadcastings Brightest Young Talents

NWBroadcasters reports: Salem has asked the FCC to approve the sale of 1680 KNTS (Regional Mexican music) to a minority-owned broadcaster rather than turn in the license of the expanded band replacement for KLFE. 1590 KLFE is being sold to Relevant Radio. All KLFE programming has moved to KKOL 1300, which the website lists as 1300 KLFE-AM. Baaz Broadcasting hopes to acquire La Patrona 1680 AM from Salem.

After just a few weeks at her San Diego gig, Jordan Tolbert appears to have dug in and is enjoying her time at ABC 10 KGTV. Jordan was previously with KNDO/KNDU Tri-Cities, WA.

We recently posted of Xochitl Hernández leaving Telemundo/KNDO-KNDU and find that she is taking a new path: “After being accepted to the Manhattan School of Music in NYC and University of Miami Frost School of Music, I’m so excited to announce I’ll be heading to Miami to get my Master of Music in Vocal Performance! Dreams really do happen with hard work and God’s grace ♥️”

Collette Buck left KHQ Tv for a gig with Washington’s Department of Social and Health Services as a Communications Consultant. Her Twitter bio states that she was formally with KHQ tv, as opposed to just casually hanging around the tv station from time to time.

We wish her well in her new gig at DSHS.
