  1. Been wondering where you went. When you came back I could sense something was askew with the sometimes over the top banter between MM, NA, and LS. And yes it did get old with there continued sometimes ridiculous banter. It looked awkward for you trying to do your job…

Best of luck for your future,

    MM

  2. I’m no Tracy fan but I missed her early weather report . I thought she just went for a short break. Then I finally Google it few moments ago and found the answer.
    I’m switching channel .
Good luck and best of health Ms. Taylor.

  3. Tracy, I left king 5 to watch you on kiro 7. You’re the only one I want to see doing traffic. You will be missed. Take care of yourself.

  4. Tracy, I have followed you since you were doing traffic on the radio!!! Love your humor and miss you energy and smiling face!

  5. You look a lot like a dear friend I had, and lost in 2020, so I loved the reminder. I also enjoyed your personality and your interactions with Nick always cracked me up. I haven’t ever felt a need to contribute a comment before, but wanted to wish you health and happiness.

  6. I’m going to miss you. You were always so thorough. I don’t know who to watch now. Enjoy what ever it is you do next. Hopefully it won’t be a long commute 🙂

  7. Just not as “peppy” as usual? Work stress can have that effect. Especially when it is no longer an enjoyable position. Not certain what stressors she had, but she is not alone, as we see with the exodus of other members of the media.

        1. These days, everyone has a microphone. The thing is that the media members do everything in public.

      1. No way, you are missed. The team keeps changing and I hate change. Please be safe! You looked great and not tired.

  8. Bye Tracy…Change is a good thing…You will always have a content happy life…Rest up and pamper yourself…Spa, Spa, Spa…

  9. Switched to Kiro when you left king 5. Now that you’re gone switching channels again. Miss you

    1. Tracy Taylor is definitely a GREAT loss to the Kiro 7 news team. She always seemed down to earth and a real people person. I hope her leaving was a choice she made freely and not one she was forced to make. She is greatly missed. Wish her luck.

      1. Tracy is just one of a multitude of media people quitting the business over working conditions, pay or lack of work/life balance. As for work/life balance, when did that become a thing? The 80s? It wasn’t a problem in the 1950s when mom took care of the home and dad went to work. Things got out of hand. $$ greed, taxation, envy, dependence on credit, lifestyle, throw-away marriage, divorce, materialism.

  10. Tracy Taylor, I will miss you terribly. You are, and always will be, the ray of sunshine in the day. A great reporter is hard to come by and you are one of the very best. Take care and best wishes to you and yours.

  11. Oh Tracy,
My husband and I just love you, it won’t be the same without you at Kiro channel 7. My husband said we will watch another channel from now on.
I am so sad you are leaving. We always looked forward to your cheerful, rapid fire traffic reports, even though we are both now retired. You have done a lot of great reporting over the years.
    We will miss you.

  12. Thanks for the nice words and write up!
I’m excited to start seeing more green than red. Lights that is..

    1. Likely as good a time as any, to bail…the local TV personality scene is more bleak, every day…So I seldom tune in to the local news anymore….News and weather is better on radio!

      1. I loved watching Tracy Taylor. She is down to earth and normal. Between she and Nick, they made the weather and traffic fun to watch. What a loss for Kiro 7 but I wish her the best. We still have Nick!

    2. I think that it is, I would imagine that the attention that you get from being on TV can get old after a while. You probably get strangers interupting dinners in restaurants, etc.

      1. I remember when my wife and I were celebrating my college graduation on a Dinner Train out of Renton years ago. I was ran into two or three times by Joyce Taylor just proving that you can also be interrupted by a “celebrity”. She did politely apologize. 😉
