  1. The league is a nonprofit organization of professional women in arts, letters, and music that was founded in 1897. The mission of the National League of American Pen Women is to support and promote creative excellence and professional standards among women in the arts.

    1. Preceded at 4:30 by “League of American Pen Women.” I wonder, was that the old radio version of “Orange is the New Black”? 😊
