93.5/102.3 KWDR Tri-Cities flips to Country

Lance Venta at  Radio Insight  is today reporting that 93.5 KRDW Royal City/102.3 K272ED Kennewick  has dropped Smooth Jazz for a 90’s-early 2000’s focused country format.  The new station is utilizing Westwood One’s “Nash Icon” gold leaning Country format.  Emphasis has been placed on the translator frequency & brings more country competition to the market.  Already airing country in the Tri-Cities is “94.9 The Wolf” KIOK & 102.7 KORD-FM.
