KNKX News Director Erin Hennessey exits

Joel Connelly reports in today’s Seattle PI that long-time 88.5 KNKX news director Erin Hennessey is leaving that position.  Station manager Joey Cohen has begun the search for a replacement.  For over 20 years now, Erin has provided excellent leadership to a dedicated team of reporters & some of the best radio news coverage available in our region.  Future plans include some unspecified news projects.  We wish Erin the best for a successful future!

As a side note:  It was nice to hear Jazz/blues PD Carol Handley on air hosting the late evening jazz shift on KNKX last Friday.
