my submission was KNJZ “News-Jazz 88.5” & these calls are currently available. Like Larry, I also gave thought to heritage calls KTOY, KPEC; plus KTNJ “Tacoma’s News-Jazz 88.5”, KNJB “News, Jazz & Blues” KKJN “Jazz-News 88.5”. If 88.5 had wanted to emphasize jazz, they blew their big chance when Sandusky dropped the KJZZ calls from 1540 AM. Ironically, these are now at an NPR news-talk station in Phoenix that was once a jazz station.
