Hersholt Retires; Newspaper Reporter Moves To Radio

With 50 years of news reporting behind him, Gregg Hersholt signed off for the last time this morning. Hersholt, morning news anchor at Lotus Communications “Northwest Newsradio” KNWN 1000 AM/97.7 FM, will be replaced by Brian Calvert, alongside Manda Factor, beginning next week. Hersholt served 26 years at KIRO AM (ending in 2010) and joined KOMO radio in 2012. (InsideRadio)…Former (2017) KNKX 88.5 production assistant Jeanie Linsay joins KUOW 94.9 on January 24th as the Northwest News Network’s state government reporter, Lindsay leaves her position as a local newspaper “Education Lab Reporter”.
