Maybe the station had poor service from the record companies.
1955 listings – Tom Read (newspaper misspelled his name) had a program on KAYE, just 4 years before he fired up his own radio station, KTWR, which eventually became KTAC FM. (KBRD, KMTT, now KHTP)
