    I got fired on my own birthday from KKMI in 1984.

    The only time I ever got FIRED from a station was when I told the owner of a small town Texas radio station that he could shove the station up his ***. He was not pleased. Long story short, I was discharged from employment there — in order to spend more time with my family and explore new adventures and opportunities.
