FCC: 930 KYAK Yakima granted FM translator

FCC grants a new FM translator licence to cover for Thomas W Read’s Christian talk 930 KYAK.  Using 180 watts & a predominantly omni-directional pattern, 96.1 K241CV will nicely cover Yakima, north to Selah & south to Toppenish & west to West Valley.  The translator will help provide coverage, making up for deficiencies the AM’s 127 watt night signal.
