FCC: KGTK Olympia FM translator re-configures

The FCC today granted a license modification of the Northwest Rock & Roll Preservation Society to re-configure 920 KGTK translator K266BM.  The 101.1 mHz translator is increasing output power from 10 watts ERP & an omni-directional antenna pattern to 250 watts ERP  that will still provide primary coverage to Olympia & Tumwater & won’t significantly change coverage to the Shelton in the north & Centralia-Chehalis in the south.  Olympia’s 920 KGTK “Megatalk” simulcasts 1400 KITZ Silverdale & is owned by KITZ Radio Inc.
