Jillian Raftery has returned to KIRO FM 97.3 as Midday News Editor and Heather Bosch is back as Afternoon News Anchor. June 2018 PPMs show KIRO back near the top of the ratings, at #2 trailing music station KQMV 92.5 (CHR)…KRKO has dropped FOX Sports Radio for an Oldies format. Both the 1380 and 95.3 FM signals are playing “Everett’s Greatest Hits”, but still run certain local sports broadcasts like AquaSox baseball and the upcoming (July 22) “NASCAR MONSTER ENERGY Cup Series” LIVE from New Hampshire. There is also an Aquasox game that evening. Sports is still a big part of the station, as well as local news… Listeners can hear KUOW at 107.3 FM in the Olympia area, one of the many translators licensed to stations in the state…Frank Sinatra’s first wife, and mother to singer-daughter Nancy, Nancy Sinatra Sr., died Friday. She was 101 years old. (Frank Sinatra once owned controlling interest in 950 KJR Seattle)
