She is already part of the morning news team, reporting daily from high in the sky with the Sky7 crew, photographer Mike and pilot Chris (last names were not revealed)… K244DY-FM 96.7 MHz Twisp, WA sold to Sacred Heart Radio. Station ownership changes from Divine Mercy Broadcasting…The FCC has fined the Yakama Nation, licensee of Station KYNR-AM, Toppenish, the amount of one thousand, five hundred dollars. Licensee’s renewal application for the station’s previous license term was due on October 1, 2013, four months prior to the February 1, 2014, expiration date. Licensee did not file a renewal application until January 23, 2014, almost four months after the filing deadline and one week before the station’s license expiration date. Licensee provided no explanation for the untimely filing of the application… Forbes has released a list of the highest paid radio personalities. Based on their latest contracts, the breakdown is:
Howard Stern $85 Million
Rush Limbaugh $79 Million
Ryan Seacrest $55 Million
Sean Hannity $29 Million
Glenn Beck $13 Million
Seacrest is well in front of Hannity, but not even close to Stern. If only Ryan would apply himself… National Advertising Division, a self-regulatory unit administered by the Better Business Bureau says that Comcast should refrain from advertising as the FASTEST broadband service. Comcast’s ad claims are based on crowd-sourced data from metrics company Ookla’s Speedtest.net, which said last year that XFINITY offered the fastest Internet service. NAD argues that the Speedtest results are not consumer relevant to which ISP delivers the fastest speeds in each tier of service and may only reflect the popularity of an ISP’s ‘fastest’ speeds.”
