iHeart local casualties

Your reporter can’t confirm this, but my spies here tell me 15-20 programming staff have been “dislocated” by noHeart.  The list of casualties I’m aware of so far:

Marty Reimer is out at classic hits “The Jet” KJR-FM

Cliff Avril, mid-day host at sports KJR-AM  is gone

Morning show producer Amanda Duryee out at KZOK

P.M. drive co-host Nate Connors vanishes from classic rock KZOK

Rob “Rockfish” Oxford departs his weekend gig at KZOK

Morning co-host/producer Jenna purged from rhythmic CHR KUBE

Executive Producer Gordon Hultengren cut from “KISS-FM” KBKS

Morning host Dave Spencer from Spokane news/talk 590 KQNT

We’re sorry to see such talent dropped from this cut-to-the-bones excuse of a corporate broadcaster determined to destroy it’s best assets – the people who make it all happen.  As their initial press release stated, AI will be integrated into future on air presence at iHeartless stations.  Does this mean real human beings will be replaced by Siri & Alexa – programmed to host radio shows?  The bloodbath continues…we’ll continue to UPDATE this page adding more names to the list as we become aware of who else has been cut.
