Phantom stations: KCTL-TV channel 20 Seattle

Next in our series on “Phantom Stations” is a query from our CEO & webmaster Jason.  KCTL-TV channel 20 Seattle was licensed in 1954 & issued a CP to build.  However, no such facility was constructed nor did KCTL-TV ever make it to air.  By 1957, it had it’s license cancelled by the FCC & no longer showed up in directories of the era.  Much later on, channel 20 in the Seattle-Tacoma region would be issued to Trinity Broadcasting’s KTBW-TV
