FCC issues licenses for new translators: Kennewick & Walla Walla

The FCC today issued licenses to cover for two new translators in our state:  Alexandra Communications  news/talk 1420 KUJ will launch K254DK on 98.7 with 10 watts & a directional antenna just inside the Oregon border.  Coverage should include most of Walla Walla but not necessarily College Place.  Licensed to Kennewick, Alexandra Communications will launch K295AV on 106.9 with 136 watts & an omni-directional antenna which should cover Pasco & Kennewick.  The translator will rebroadcast Alexandra’s Spanish language, regional Mexican music station 100.1 KQFO-FM
