FCC: Application to move KARR’s FM translator

Sunnylands Broadcasting, the licensee of the 1460 KARR translator 98.5 K253CG has applied to the commission to move the transmitter & antenna from Cougar Mountain to Capitol Hill on E Madison St. & 18th Ave.  Power will remain at 250 watts ERP with a directional antenna.  Coverage will still be centered on Seattle but will have better reception in West Seattle & Bainbridge Island.  The translator has been widely heard in scattered portions of the city metro, so it remains to be heard how well coverage from Capitol Hill will change.
