Staff turnover at Q13 News

Anchors Alexandra Lewis & Nadia Romero have both left & have taken up positions out of market. Reporter Tatevik Aprikyan was on medical leave for months, but a memo has gone to staff from News Director Erica Hill informing that Taevik is no longer with the station.

  1. I have just watched mireya garcia for the first time and I am not impressed too much giggling who did she replace?

    1. Liz Dueweke gets shuffled around in the morning news hours. Liz Dueweke & Brian Flores will co-host the new STUDIO 13 segment of the FOX 13 morning news block which begins on September 12th, 10a-11a.

  2. Iv been watching Q13 news for years and now that you have chased all your talent away I have moved my news watching to a new channel . BLM Destroyed Seattle. Fox you destroyed your own team . Brandi, Travis, MJ, and others . MANAGEMENT YOU SCREWED UP

  3. I guess we will find a more Conservative news outlet. We are glad to hear these people are leaving for their person integrity! Here are too many things going on that people need to stand up and say, “Enough”! Q 13, wish you would stand up too, for Us!

  4. I figured this would happen as fake news fox began to make itself felt more and more there. Have to follow Brandi elsewhere. Glad she stuck to her guns.

  5. OK, I can tolerate the on-air staff changes. Brandi was a big loss, among others. But when they destroy the weekend morning news slots with their Burn Loot Murder mandated crap, I’m done with FOX13. Especially when you e-mail them to ask about it and they just ignore you – multiple times. If FOX13 wants to appease BLM they can do it anytime other than AM or PM prime time.

  6. Why the huge turnover a Fox13 in Seattle? Seems almost every personality we know is going. Just found out a few minutes ago that Brandi Kruise announced she is leaving. What the hell gives? Is Fox wanting us to go to another channel? I sure as hell don’t want to go to ABC, CBS, or NBC but it looks like many favored broadcasters are leaving. The assumption is they all had to sign Nondisclosure agreements or there would be more on the exodus.
Looks like it’s time to search up a new, more responsible station here for our news.

  7. Staffing changes are horrible. Bring back Travis.

The new weatherman isn’t even from the PNW.

Also, why do they only report on 5 or 6 things and then repeat, repeat, repeat. There is much more news (good news) out there to report on.

  8. Whomever is making staffing decisions at KCPQ13 is making some HUGE mistakes. They seem to be taking away all the people that the audience relates to the most. Older women, people of size, gay people, minorities, etc… a lot of people started watching because it was the only station they could get in ‘over the air’ when they cut the cord over the expense of ‘pay’ tv and the interference from ferries (new radar/sonar?) and other weird things. This morning ‘team’ became friends and family and a warm fuzzy. The people they have coming in now seem to be very different …..-how/why- does the person(s) making these decisions think this is not going to alienate people? A couple of young women with a darker shade of skin does not make it ‘better’. With the way things are going…they are seeming more and more ‘token’.

    1. Kudos Brandi ! Good news reporting creates a talking point. Just reading a script, is being an actor. Thank you, for having morals.

  9. 1. What happened to Grace, the Asian week-end weather woman?
    2. What is the reason that Channel 13 has such a high turnover, rate?
    3. How are the “new” personnel selected for the various positions?
