LOCOMOTION — Eva Boyd, who had recorded the demo, her name was changed to Little Eva. Boyd was actually Carole King’s babysitter, having been introduced to King and King’s husband Gerry Goffin by The Cookies, a local girl group who would also record for the songwriters. Wikipedia

Little Eva’s “Locomotion” has been a dance-floor classic since it’s original release. It’s been reworked & remixed several times over the years freshening up the recording with more contemporary dance beats & grooves with great success. Even a few of today’s teens know this summertime classic that was far ahead of many other records released at the same time.
Weird Song Title award goes to Johnny Crawford’s “Your Nose Is Going To Grow” found on KOL’s “A-OK Sure shots” (yeah, sure…) Had this song been released 15 years later, it would have been banned from airplay by the FCC for having blatant drug references!
