Expect Q13 to have at least one segment focusing on #MentalHealthMatters
Where am I?!
I have been away for a couple weeks, and will be for a couple more. I felt you guys deserved to know what was going on 💕 Thank you got the continued love and support!
➡️ I need to add to this — I didn’t talk about @jennyblue63 role in my journey because it makes me cry (yes, even more) but my mom has been my rock through this entire thing *tearing up* From the day I temporarily moved in with her last year, until today (I just dropped her off at her house) she has called or texted every single day. She comes over and stays the night with me weekly… We meet up after my counseling, we go see my grandpa (those moments are gold), we go on long walks together, we sit and binge Dexter…
She stays with my dogs when I need to go turn everything off (all responsibility)… She calls me when she doesn’t hear back from me… Sometimes I worry her.
Since last year, she has soaked up every tear and listened to every story… I’m so beyond grateful for my mother. I thank God for *this part of the journey— I have so many new memories with my mom.
UPDATE*** June 25, 2021 — ALI BRADLEY IS NO LONGER WITH KCPQ 13.

I miss seeing your smile and your great personality on Q13. The show isn’t the same without you. Good luck in your future pursuits.
I believe that there is no one issue….and I also believe it is generally internal: in mind and body chemistry; NOT external: single mom pressure, station micro management, etc. External can exaserbate, but not cause. There are wonderful programs for dealing with these kind of issues….please seek them out. There is one here in the PNW called The Center – A place of Hope…..all those with debilitating mental health issues should check it out….and others in Washington State and across the nation. Depending on severity, there are effective anti-depressants, but therapy should be included. Been there, done that……Not easy, but very possible to overcome given all the above and time.
Patience and dedication and the proper medications and therapy. Believe!! Hearts and hugs to Ali and her family.
As one who suffers from severe depression I respectfully disagree that it is a physical problem. It could be a chemical unbalance.
Also the first word you describe her is “beautiful.” I find that disappointing that you believe only non-beautiful people suffer from depression.
Do you suffer from depression? It can be debilitating. Thankfully I am on medications that help me keep an even keel.
Also I didn’t appreciate the opinion of that poster (not you) that the first way to describe her as “beautiful “. I assume he meant that beauty challenged people are the only ones who suffer from depression.
We always looked forward to seeing you on the news. Ali, you take care of yourself. We’re going to miss you.
My guess is: It is not so much the news reporting as it is the station management micro-managing, corporate meddling and in-fighting between station personnel. Prove me wrong.
Sinclair’s KATU decided not to air any newscasts yesterday, so their entire could attend a seminar to help deal with on-the-job stress and trauma.
Oh my! Is this society so weak that people can’t even read the news without falling apart? How did Edward R. Murrow do it in World War II, broadcasting while bombs fell all around him? How did newscasters get through the Kennedy assassination reporting without taking two-weeks of sick pay?
Build yourself slowly. Keep yourself small. 1% of 1% change in YOUR good direction can be yours. Be a turtle sometimes, be who you are, and then run like heck for the ocean.
Skill building in all areas can assist with building self-esteems. Self-care is a skill. Just like watercolor, exercise….
It’s been a while but me and Jim still miss Ally so much.We wish her peace and love.
Miss you on the news. W.ill keep you in my prayers. We love you!)
Depression is mostly an actual physical problem within the human brain…having to do with certain areas of the brain not working quite as they should be…this is the latest info from the scientific community, and various medical drug therapies are showing great promise. Having said that, I have always felt that being great looking, and also being intelligent, are two great advantages in Life itself–and would automatically lead to happiness, success, etc. So I am always bewildered when beautiful people have such problems–just like so many of us that are not blessed with those advantages!
OK…But how can one attain “self-esteem and confidence,”… when not given those other factors that society judges you by?…especially in a medium that is so visual as TV?,,,btw—the term “white paper” is now considered racist!…You must use a multi-colored paper to write upon!…LOL
So often, the issue is a single mom raising a child with no father in the picture. My money is on that being the driving factor behind most of these mental breakdowns.
Not religious but miss you anyway. Totally understand mental health problems. I had a very hard time working, with a depression problem. I DID do it but there’s a lot of bad help out there. Keep working on it Ali. Rooting for you.
Ali,
Your charm, beauty and professionalism is a loss to the Q13 viewers. May God continue to watch over, and through you, as you face this challenge.
Regards,
Mel Jorgenson

I look forward on weekend news for Ali Bradley to deliver the news so when I didn’t see her for couple of weekend I was not sure if she left or went on vacation. Ali please take care and please come back. Missed Omar Lewis also
We love Ali! ❤️We wish her all the best. I hope she returns as she brings so much joy to our day.
Her Instagram video speaks about divorce, anxiety and depression. The stories she has reported during the end of the Trump admin and the Covid have gotten to her. She also says she has been seeing a counselor for 8 years.
I suspect we could all benefit from seeing a counselor for an extended period.
I love you Ali. U are so awesome!🤪
I have been looking for her. She is missed so much, I loved seeing her report. I want you to heal, Ali, and take care of yourself.
