I can’t take local tv news seriously anymore.
If anything positive comes from the poor judgment and mismanagement of local news programming, it will be that some day one or more of the stations either lose their license, forfeit their license due to financial losses, or lose their network affiliation and become MeTV or Comet stations.
KOMO is giving away a nifty coffee mug to winning contest entries, KIRO is tossing money to viewers. KING 5 should hold daily dance contests during the 5 pm and 11 pm newscasts.
Have Tegna, COX, and Sinclair not heard of Naked News? At least put Frankie Katafias (KIRO), Hannah Knowles (KOMO), and Conner Board (KING) in bikinis during news shows.
