New KKDZ 1250 Transmitter Location Identified

NWBroadcasters reports: Further details on the recently granted change of transmitter location and community of license to Kent for KKDZ AM 1250. The new transmitter location is the old KMIA AM 1210 night site just east of Auburn. The site was purchased last year by Sukhdev Dhillon, who also purchased the transmitter site for KMIA. The KMIA Site was approved by the FCC for the new location of KZIZ AM 1560, which will be diplexed with KMIA. According to Dhillon, he plans to construct the 1250 and 1560 facilities at the same time.

  1. The total end of an era. 1250 was good stuff in the KFOX days. I wish fun radio could exist again. Oh well.
