Spokane Broadcasting Company’s on-channel booster for oldies 107.1 KPKL “Kool 107.1” relocates to a new transmitter site west of the city. KPKL-FM-1 will run 5 kW from the new site just west of Riverside State Park. KPKL‘s 25 kW main transmitter & antenna are located north in Deer park (city of license). The new booster site will provide a better signal into the North Indian Trail, Five Mile Prairie, Balboa & Town & Country neighborhoods which experience a poor signal from the main site. The FCC today issued a license to cover for this change.
