Former King5 News Director Cheryl Carson is named in a 36-page FCC complaint filed by a northern VIrginia school district accusing her new station, WJLA in Washington, DC, (owned by SInclair) of a continuing disinformation campaign about the county’s schools. One of the station’s reporters is named as well. Sinclair has a reputation of going after school systems, but, to be fair, its Project Baltimore series just won Emmys for coverage.
