I knew Stu Martin from KOIN channel 6 in Portland where he hosted “Nightcap Theater with Stu Martin” from about 1974 to 1976.
He showed old movies with a LOT of commercials advertising all sorts of local businesses. He hosted a similar movie show at KVDO channel 3 in Salem before his stint at KOIN. I always liked him and wondered whatever became of him!

The Blaidon (Blaydon?) family bought it in about ’73 and improved the station very much before selling it. Think of all the money they missed out on.

They were a disgrace. I used to watch Bob Corcoran for laughs.
