Long time KSTW channel 11 news reporter Steve Williams started his career as a reporter with WMBD in Peoria, Illinois. He returned to Tacoma in 1979 to join the KSTW news staff. He had a second career as a public information officer for Washington State DSHS. He retired in 2010.
