Could this have anything to do with the recent decision by the News Tribune bean counters to print in Vancouver, Washington rather than Tacoma? That is 130 miles to the south of Tacoma. The recent snowstorms make delivery of the newspaper impossible. This is a dying newspaper. The situation only made worse by such brilliant decisions by McClatchy management.
