Madison grew up in West Seattle and attended Gonzaga University in Spokane. She studied journalism at Chapman University, and graduated from the Dodge College of Film and Broadcasting. Previous to coming to KING 5, Madison started her career at KRCR/Redding, California, and went on to WBIR/Knoxville, Tennessee, and finally, closer to home, ABC10 in Sacramento.
