Kent Holsather and I have been working on a book on the local rock and roll happenings from 1955 through 1980 and one of our biggest contributors is Dick Stark. He invited us into his home and gave us a lot of info and photos about his time with KPUG. I only wish we had completed our project in time to give Dick the first copy of our book. Wes Gannaway
I will miss talking with Dick. He was a super nice guy and the leading source of historical information on Whatcom County radio. His memory for details was beyond compare…even going back 65 years.
