Can you choose a TV brand worse than ARC ?

What does it stand for anyway? I can’t remember. That’s how effective that branding was. DON’T TELL ME! Because it would hurt my brain more to have that bit of trivia in my skull.
ARC. KOMO 4 tried to be clever, ARC has nothing to do with CW Network or the call letters KUNS. Merry Christmas, but lose the ARC brand in 2025, PLEEEEEEASE!

  1. Could NOT agree more! Unfortunately, Sinclair appears unlikely to lose it because they are expanding the meaningless ARC brand to other metro areas. Ughh!

      1. ARC, or Audio Return Channel, is a feature on some TVs that allows you to send and receive audio through a single HDMI cable, instead of using an additional optical or composite audio cable. ARC can improve sound quality and latency by allowing audio signals to travel in both directions between the TV and an external audio device.

        1. Kelly, The marketing department at Sinclair would not be smart enough to understand what you just said. But, thank you. I would rather know this than to have “Authentic, Relative, and Community” running through my head.

  2. Maybe it’s a reference to the electrical fire they had in their basement a few years back at then Fisher Plaza. ARC.
