iHeart’s gift keeps giving – a look at just a few of the nationwide layoffs

iHeart layoffs —
(Seattle) Lee Callahan out Nov 4th as iHeart “cuts for the Holidays” promotion continues. Callahan was morning host at 96.5 Jack-KJAQ. Lee started with KJAQ in 2007. Earlier gigs were as news anchor for Talk 1090 KPTK, morning producer-co-host at 103.7 The Mountain -KMTT, producer at AM 1000 KOMO, and has also worked at KZOK and KMPS.
Another iHeart victim, Jake Waldo, cluster Promotions Director and morning show producer at Classic Rock 102.5 KZOK.

San Antonio
‘Joe Pags’ Pagliarulo exits late afternoons at News/Talk 1200 WOAI after nineteen years. His show remains in syndication through Compass Media Networks.

Portland
Justin Myers exits mornings at Sports “Rip City Radio” 620 KPOJ. Myers joined KPOJ in 2015 after a decade at Cumulus Eugene OR.

Also out at KPOJ is afternoon co-host Dwight Jaynes, who has quickly launched a Substack blog. Co-host Chad Doing remains as the only local host on the station.
