Will the new KIRO ND be adding Critical Race Theory to the newsroom training program?

NWBroadcasters is reporting that former KING 5 interim news director, Laura Evans, is returning to Seattle as the ND at KIRO 7 effective May 8th. Evans had accepted the ND position at WHIO-TV/Dayton in October 2021. Less than two years after steeping her brain in the kool-aid at KING 5, Evans will likely make changes at KIRO 7, because she believes, “If you change nothing, nothing changes.”

A Change Is Gonna Come

The bluebird icon and Twitter brand remain, but the corporate makeover is more fitting of the Musk mind-set. X Æ A-12 is the name of Musk’s youngest child, a daughter whose name is pronounced Exa Dark Sideræl Musk. Say it with me, “sigh-deer-ee-el”.

The Seattle Seahawks and KIRO AM 710/NewsRadio 97.3 have signed a multi-year extension which keeps KIRO as the flagship radio stations. This has not changed since the Hawks’ first season in 1976.
