Angie Mentink On Highlights Of Women In Sports; Disgraced SF Anchor Makes Another On-Air Apology

Former KTVU FOX 2/Oakland-San Francisco anchor Frank Somerville was interviewed by SF tv competitor KRON 4 on Tuesday evening. KTVU countered with an interview with Condoleezza Rice. Ratings numbers show these two features canceling each other out. Somerville was fired from KTVU after an on-air appearance where it appeared he may have been under the influence of either drugs or alcohol. He had also been arrested for a DUI.

  1. In my opinion, she symbolizes baseball in this town. Since the players are known as the “Boys Of Summer”, I coined the nickname.

  2. Good to see a story about Angie. As a Mariner fan, every winter I keep thinking, Angie, when will the clouds disappear?
    I nicknamed her, the golden girl of summer.
