Katie Zúñiga, KTVZ 21 (weather)/Bend, Or., joins FOX 12 KPTV/Portland. Her last day at KTVZ was Friday. She started her tv career as an intern there in 2017.

  1. Our loss is Portland’s gain. I am so sad that we won’t see Katie Zuniga any more. She was the best part of the newscast and made the weather so interesting, talking about ridges and troughs and really thoroughly explained what was coming. Congrats Katie!!

  2. Katie, I am heartbroken to know that you have left Bend…you were the best part of the news and a brilliant meteorologist ! Always enjoyed your enthusiastic presentation of the weather. Your talks at The Alexander were so interesting and spured me to pay more attention to weather conditions
    I wish you well in your new endeavors. Portland is lucky to have you❣️
