(Twitter) “First and foremost I’d like to thank God for providing a way. Thank you to my close friends and family for believing in me and showing love and support. Thank you to the KHQ family for giving me a chance. That being said, I’m thankful to announce that I have signed a 2-year contract with KHQ local news in Spokane, Washington. Staying close to family on the west side is really important to me, and I’m humbled by the opportunity to do so. Leaving KHQ after my internship was hard for me, because of the uncertainty of the future but also because I felt like I had unfinished business. There is no place nor team that I would rather start my career with. I’m starting as a part-time reporter on Saturdays until I graduate in December. At that point I will switch to full-time. If you know of any story ideas in Spokane, please reach out to me. I cannot wait to get started. Let’s do this‼️” –Noah Boelter

Congrats, Noah!
Maybe with these new hires they can quit tape recording the 10/11 weather earlier in the evening.
That means he rocked it on his internship. That, of course, ages me because I’m sure that students today don’t use that expression. As a Cougar grad, I couldn’t be prouder of this gentleman. Go Noah and Go Cougs!
