I am hooked on Jonathan Choe’s reporting for Discovery Institute. This is the video and sound the local tv news stations refuse to report. You can hook up with Jonathan on Twitter to see his reports. It’s upclose, dirty/grimey at times, but that is Seattle today.
The news set is getting a make-over! That’s always a big thing for reporters and anchors at tv stations. One of the latest is KCAL 9 in Los Angeles. Out with the red carpeting and in with glossy desks and huge screens. The reveal will happen in a few weeks.
Brooke Fox, seen here cooling off after a day outdoors in the sun…Brooke previously worked at KKZR-FM in Portland and was a voice on the all-female drive show on KZZU-FM/Spokane.
****CORRECTION***** We erred in an earlier story, turns out that Nia Wong, formerly with KXLY posted pics of Jennifer Lee’s wedding. We reported that Nia Wong got married. Pie in our face, but we would prefer wedding cake. (Thanks, Patti A. for the heads up!)
I just spilled my coffee. I should Tweet that. That is Tweet-worthy based on what we see from media folks. They have to stay engaged, it’s a job requirement. Many of the anchors like to dance also. This stuff sometimes makes it to air. But what does it add?

Somehow, I feel I’ve lost a few brain cells by watching that.
She dressed for it. No doubt about it. These things are done for ratings. With 4 or 5 stations in the market vying for viewers, anything goes. It’s a circus.
…but it was hard to stop watching, wasn’t it?
