KPIX 5/San Francisco reporter, Shawn Chitnis, spent a few days in Seattle this week. He was home with his parents to celebrate his mother’s birthday. Chitnis was born and raised in Seattle (Bothell), worked in tv news in Yakima (KNDO 23), Spokane (KREM 2) and KCNC 4 in Denver, prior to joining KPIX tv in 2021. Chitnis also reports for the station’s 24/7 news streaming service CBS News Bay Area and its digital platform KPIX.com.
