Samantha Rivera Leaves San Diego For Chicago

Samantha Rivera leaves her position as the bilingual reporter for the National Women’s Soccer League San Diego Wave, moving back home to Chicago and a new gig at NBC 5 WMAQ. At WMAQ, Samantha will be a sports anchor and reporter, and will also collaborate on sports for Telemundo Chicago and NBC Sports Chicago. Prior to her time with the Wave, Samantha was FOX 5 San Diego’s first and only Latina sports anchor, reporter and producer.
