  1. I was fortunate enough to know Lan in his later years. As a young broadcaster, he took me under his wing, and learned a lot from a true broadcasting legend!

  2. Lan Roberts would, decades later, embrace the internet in a big way. He had a website that showed old pictures. He waxed nostalgic. He gave his opinion on current issues. He also connected to people who did not know him from radio like myself. For an old school guy to wrap his arms around technology in that prompt a manner is indeed rare.
