  1. Captain Kangaroo listed at 11:00 on Saturday morning as LIVE. Whoever put these listings together at the newspaper must have been half asleep.

    1. The westerns started moving to TV and they had been a big part of the radio entertainment. Wrestling was big. And then came roller derby!

  2. The Today Show on NBC TV – One hour. That is all you need. This 4 hour nonsense is for the birds.

  3. (LIVE) probably meant picked up directly over cable or microwave, not a tape sent to the station to be broadcast a day or so later. The Thin Man was not a “live” teleplay.
