Former weathercaster at FOX 13-KCPQ, M.J. McDermott on FB:
I promise not to do a post or send a photo every time I have chemo, but I had to share this. Chemo #2 was yesterday. I brought my new Baby Yoda blankie – a gift from my former co-workers at the former Q13. You know, I don’t miss getting up at 2:15 a.m. to do the weather, but I do miss my wonderful co-workers! One of them, Elizabeth Ward, came to my house and delivered a big bag of goodies and good wishes from the crew. I was stunned and delighted.
The socks are from my sister, Patty. They cracked me up!
Former KISW broadcaster, Bob Rivers, blogs:
“As well as I’m doing, I’m just like so many cancer patients. There will be biopsies and a pathology study to determine best course of action. Follow up treatment with immunotherapy and/or radiation is very common with this and other aggressive cancers, because they like to spread and reoccur. So I will also need to be monitored and screened regularly.” Read here
