  1. That cartoon, if published today, would provoke a hashtag, a march and a well-deserved protest against the glorification of domestic abuse.

    My dad, born in 1911, used to mention WhizBang once in a while when I was a kid. Captain Billy’s WhizBang was also cited by Professor Harold Hill as one of the corruptors of River City youth in “The Music Man”.
