KJR has added 93.3 FM simulcast

After several weeks of stunting, KJR added the FM simulcast at 93.3 FM, formerly hip-hop KUBE. The FM is still using the KUBE call letters.

The date for the format switch on 950 AM is up in the air at this point. Seems like a fluid situation.

Softy alluded to dayparting. Some segments will be simulcast, but the AM will change format overall.

KYNO is doing it right. And Seattle is not the great radio city it used to be. It is high time programmers took some chances with AM stations.

I think it might be great to have KJR-AM as an oldies station. It seems to be working in Fresno.

Call letter switch must happen with 93.3. The KUBE call letters could be moved to 95.7 The Jet. A format change for AM 950 KJR is rumored. And what becomes of 1090 KFNQ, currently “FOX Sports 1090 KJR” ?
