  1. Alison, you will be missed‼️ You were a real professional who always got the story. I’m happy you are remaining here in Seattle, and hope your new job has a successful run like your channel 7 run.

Guess my plan of meeting you I guess is out the window! YIU WILL BE MISSED♥️

  2. A former KIRO employee I know left in 2020 because she was confident she would be “aged out” by management. As looks fade and salaries rise it becomes an insurmountable equation in the visual media. For an industry that prides themselves as justice advocates they certainly do their fair share of discrimination based on age, appearance, and salary.

      1. My husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Alison a few weeks ago (a personal outing for each of us). We have enjoyed watching her on KIRO through the years, and wish her all the best at the US DOJ. We will miss seeing her on KIRO, but raise a glass of wine to her continued success. Best wishes Alison!

  3. Ms Grande was a beauty queen, back in the day…I notice that many “older” media people begin to look for other work, when they think the writing is on the wall!
