From north of the “dotted line” a survey from Vancouver’s 1410 CKVN which at that time was a hybrid top 40/progressive rock outlet that blended current singles with album cuts. Within a few years the station would drop the LP tracks to concentrate on a full blown top 40 format along with the return of it’s iconic C-FUN call letters. Thanks to Jim Bower’s excellent Vancouver Top 40 Radio website where this survey originally appears. Note the typesetting problems with the “Big LP Cuts’ as songs don’t line up with the artists performing them.

Who put this chart together anyway? A lot of misprints.
Ed – I would imagine the screw-ups were from the company printing this up. Knowing some of the people at CKVN during that era, including the MD I highly doubt these mistakes were made by station personnel. There are quite a few lines where songs don’t match up with the correct artist. At least they got the 4 “Preview” records correct 🙂
