[EDITED] LOVELINE, the nightly call-in feature on KMPS AM 1300, expands, introducing a 9 p.m. start time…Ownership of KXA has transferred to Olympic Broadcasting, and new call letters have been approved. The station will return to the air May 1st as KRPM AM 770…Gary Vance has left KMPS last week, presumably because he couldn’t take the night shift anymore…Jeff King has given up his role as PD at KPLZ to concentrate on the morning show…Carolyn Tappin, with news stints at KMPS, KVI, and most recently KHIT, has become the new morning news voice at KLSY AM & FM… the new PD at KPLZ is Casey Keating. Keating previously worked in the production department at KVI-KPLZ…The radio business will be the topic on Art Popham’s PM TACOMA talk show at 7 p.m. Monday on 850 KTAC…
