FCC: translator application for silent KMIA dismissed

The FCC has dismissed a construction permit (CP) issued to Bustos Media for a 1210 KMIA translator in Auburn.  The translator was supposed to be on 101.1 mHz  with an ERP of 250 watts.  KMIA has a ‘silent STA’ for it’s AM signal due to financial hardship as a result of pandemic induced reduction in revenue.  Whether KMIA returns to the air at all is questionable.
