  1. So, how many of you who were around the week of May 10 – 16, 1964 (when this survey was released) remember the #14 song on KISN Fabulous Fifty Hit Parade by Paul Revere & The Raiders • “Louie Go Home”? It was written by Mark Lindsay and Paul Revere as a sequel to Richard Berry’s “Louie Louie”. There were actually two versions of this song issued. The original (with a sax opening) was released as a single. A different version (with a guitar opening) was on their 1966 • “Midnight Ride” LP and a subsequent “Greatest Hits” album. I don’t recall us playing this song at the Top-40 station I was at in ’64.
