  1. I was 16 years old when J.J. Jordan took over the early evening slot at WOR-FM in New York City. He replaced Bob Elliott.

J.J. was on weeknights from 8PM-Midnight and Saturday’s from 6 PM-Midnight. WOR-FM was a great station. However, it had a high DJ turnover.

  2. Scotty Brink was very nice on the phone to two 12 year olds girls who made him wire rings. I’m 67 and still remember him by name! That was KHJ L.A. 1968!

  3. Don L Brink was at WIBG in Philadelphia with my Dad George Gilbert. He used to come to our house for dinner when I was a young girl. Great voice!

    1. Hi This is Father Jim Drucker I worked with George (GG) running his weekly WIBG Record Hops at Phoenixville Armory and Pottstown>>>later he hired me as WARM GOOD GUY JIM DRUCKER 1969-1971 ‘All-Nights’. I’d love to hear from you

    1. Oops! Scotty Brink was a consultant at KPAS in El Paso in 1976-77. I worked there at the time, but never worked at KELP.
