Yakima First Nation radio KYNR off air: victim of major theft

Yakama First Nation radio 1490 KYNR Toppenish is off air indefinitely thanks to thieves who broke into their studio & took studio gear plus all of their EAS equipment.  Even if new audio gear can be obtained, KYNR cannot return to the air until the EAS equipment is operational.  KYNR is an interesting station that I hope to do a short profile on in future.  More about this story:  Yakima Herald
